Yes. Most of our tournaments are in New York State. However, there may be occasional travel to other states. This will largely depend on the talent level of the players.
Teams can range from 8-12 players on a team.
AAU basketball is considered the premier level of basketball for amateur players. This is a very competitive level of basketball. If your daughter is someone that loves basketball and is serious about becoming a better player, then AAU competition is what she needs to improve.
This varies from season to season. We plan on having teams from 4th/5th grade through 9th grade.
AAU is an investment. The cost can vary depending on the program. Cost can usually run between $600- $1250 depending on the program and season.
AAU is a very big commitment. However, the AAU season is not an everyday every week commitment. All games are played on the weekends, but these do not take up every weekend. Coaches try to accommodate all schedules to the best of their ability. AAU can interfere with other sport seasons such as soccer, softball and lacrosse.
Practices are usually twice a week with the exception of the summer session which is ran once a week.
